An accomplished actress as well as singer, Ruby has
appeared in numerous West End productions including the award-winning musical
Simply Heavenly, for which she achieved the Best Supporting Role
category at the What's on Stage awards. Ruby has also appeared in hit TV shows
such as Eastenders and Holby City, has graced the big screen in the British
blockbuster film Love Actually, and made a recent appearance in the
BBC's "Songs of Praise" Program.
With numerous prestigious accolades to her name, Rubys valuable
contribution to the R&B and Soul genres has been acknowledged and
celebrated throughout the years. She has been awarded the Best Blues Vocalist
of the Year by Blues & Soul Magazine, and has achieved the American Society
of Composers and Performers honours for co-writing "It's Gonna Be
Alright" which went to No 1 in the American R&B charts.

Another of the great milestones in Rubys career came
when she was asked to sing the National Anthem for Her Majesty The Queen, Tony
Blair and other major dignitaries at the opening of the Millennium Dome on New
Years Eve 1999/2000.
Ruby appeared on Comic Relief (BBC) with Jools Holland singing Blowing in
the Wind as a duet with Will Young. Tracks by Ruby are featured on the
last 3 Jools Holland & Friends Platinum selling albums.
Blowing In the Wind and Country Man are featured on
Jools brand new album Swinging the Blues and Dancing the Ska
